By focusing on key goals such as safety, family connections, personal growth, and leadership, hope is launched,

Homes of Hope emphasizes that one’s past should not restrict one’s future and that speaking out is essential to keep oneself and others safe.

Transformational Training Centre

We are excited to highlight our commitment to empowering girls through our training courses, designed not only for the participants but also for their families and supportive networks.

These trainings can open pathways to employment opportunities and can facilitate further education. that equip survivors with practical skills to gain financial independence and pursue meaningful careers.

The goal of these programs is to give young women the tools they need to thrive to break the cycle of forced sex.

Inner Life

The "Inner Life" initiative is a systematic 12-month program studying Bible from a woman's perpective. It recognizes the importance of addressing the internal aspects of healing, helping individuals rebuild their sense of identity, purpose, and self-worth through a personal knowledge of a Redeemer and Lord Who loves them.

Additionally, Homes of Hope runs a Celebrate Recovery program, providing a Christ-centered pathway for the girls to confront the hurts, habits, and hangups that have shaped their lives, while finding healing with a safe and supportive community. Through this process, they learn to experience God's grace, grow in freedom from the effects of trauma, and develop a deep, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Trauma Therapy

Homes of Hope integrates various trauma therapy modalities that are integrated into the healing process to help survivors express themselves in non-verbal ways and process emotions that may be too difficult to articulate. These therapies provide a safe space for individuals to explore and release stored trauma and emotions, while also promoting physical and emotional healing.

Through creative expression, survivors are encouraged to regain a sense of control, creativity, and joy in their lives.

Their freedom matters.

Trauma-Informed Care

Trauma-informed care is central to Homes of Hope’s approach. We recognize the deep impact of trauma on the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of survivors. The staff is trained to understand and respond to the effects of trauma with compassion and sensitivity.

Services provided under this initiative include: psychological counselling; focus groups; various trauma therapies; safe housing; and a sense of belonging through creating a supportive and empathetic environment for survivors to heal and rebuild their lives.

The girls gain tremendous strength gaining knowledge that many have walked a similar path before them and are thriving.

Our community is built on understanding and compassion.
