A Hope to Go to Nursing School [1/19/2010]
One of our residents has been accepted to nursing school! We all are very excited for her! She is a mature woman whose life has changed in the year that she has lived at HoH.

Two weeks ago we asked for help in funding her schooling and living expenses there. (She has hardly any family to support her.) When she graduates, she plans on being bonded to work at HoH as the campus nurse for three years.

Since we announced the need, she has been given a donation of $2500FJD to pay for her first semester of schooling! The money needed for schooling came in the day it was due!

We are all continuing to walk in faith that all of her needs will be met. She will bring her daughter when we can get more of the needed money (such as living expenses). She has already paid for her books and her fees for her first semester. She still needs rent, food, and other living expenses totaling about US$200 each month.
